Neema Technologies

The fast growing demand for clean water and the renewed focus on community health and hygiene, local and global manufacturers of water purification systems such as Neema Technologies, a leading supplier of water purifications systems in Kenya is addressing the gap in the water purification productions and machine problem in rural and urban settlements in Kenya.

According to recent survey report by the WHO the statistics show that only 59% of Kenyans have access to basic water services and only 29% have access to sanitary services. Clean water, basic toilets and good hygiene practices are essential for the survival and well being of the general population and critical in the reduction of diseases related to the consumption of unclean water such as Typhoid and Cholera.

Water purifiers (depending on type) remove viruses, bacteria and other organic and inorganic particles/contaminants found in our water supply. Purifying your water means no more stomach bugs and unforeseen illnesses you will also get that fresh water taste and smell. Neema technologies offers Some of the most effective water purification machines available in Kenya including a variety of Domestic Reverse Osmosis and Ultra Filtration machines as well as Reverse Osmosis Plants.

Reverse Osmosis is a process where water is forced at high pressure through a membrane.

The result is that only the water drop passes through the membrane while all other substances remains behind and are washed away as waste.

Reverse Osmosis membranes are devided into three categories:

  • Tap Water membranes that can treat water with a Total Dissolved Solids reading of up to 1200mg/L
  • Brack Water membranes that can treat water with a Total Dissolved Solids reading of up to 18000mg/L
  • Desalination (Sea Water) membranes that can treat water with a Total Dissolved Solids reading of up to 38000mg/L

This process predominantly uses a semi-permeable membrane in order to restrict and remove molecules and ions from the water. Reverse osmosis systems are cost effective and ensure recyclable water is efficiently provided by removing all dissolved solids. This system is becoming more widely utilised to ensure waste water is properly maintained.  This process is suitable for household to Industrial applications.

The cost of water purification machines in Kenya is dependent on the capacity and machine specification, for instance the 500LPH Water Treatment RO Machine, Salt Rejection 99%, 30% recovery rate, BW30-4040 RO membrane, CNP high pressure.
